So, Trimble has pulled his Party out of the review, insisting that Government must punish Sinn Fein/IRA for the recent breach in its alleged ceasefire. This now makes the DUP seem rather vulnerable to the charge of being Republicans best buddies since they appear to want to stay in a process that contains the IRA's proxies. The sheer madness of the political process here is sometimes surreal.
