It is perfectly obvious that the photos printed on their front page by the leftist rag The Daily Mirror, allegedly showing UK troops abusing Iraqi prisoners, are FALSE. I anticipate that this will be confirmed by the MOD later today. Piers Morgan, Editor of this disreputable rag, should be sacked for this gross misrepresntation of our armed forces. Yet the word on the street is that these pictures which were originally presented as being totally authentic are now termed as being merely "illustrative" of what may, or may not, have happened. Goebbels must be turning in his grave - if only the Mirror had been around with Piers at the helm during the 1940's.
