APATHY RULES BUT WHO CARES?

Just back from the polling station. I think the key message is that apathy rules! Turnout seems very low, with my local polling station having tumbleweed blowing through its' portals.

As ever the election poses a number of interesting questions which we shall not know the answers to until Monday.

1. How will the DUP vote compare this time in the absence of Paisley? Is this the moment in time when the DUP moves on electorally without his presence?

2. How many nationalists will be wooed into voting for the Party of IRA terror? Will this bring "The vision in Pink" De Brun to the European Parliament and will this result in the the useless SDLP getting the boot? What will be made of Durkan's "leadership" if the result is what everyone suspects.

3. How will Nicholson perform on first preference votes vs last time and vs DUP? Will this be another hammer blow to the once "Natural Party of Government"?

4. How will Gilliand perform vs Sean Neeson last time round?

5. Will the Green's get more than 1000 votes? Have we that many deranged eco-wackists in NI?

6. Will Eamon McCann's "single" get to number one?

Questions Questions Questions ...the answers will follow!!
