BBC REVISIONISM ON D-DAY
The BBC has been central to the ongoing re-branding of those of us who live in Northern Ireland as being Irish. This is apparent in their coverage of the D-Day remembrance ceremony entitled "Service for Irish D Day veterans." Whilst recognising that many people from the Irish Republic did fight in WW2, it is grossly offensive to describe those Ulster men who were fighting for Queen and country as "Irish." They were nothing of the sort - they were British and proud if it.
