Tony Blair is off to Brussels to sell out the UK's independence and ancient freedoms. What is amazing is that he does this only one week after the UK electorate made it clear that they wish to see the UK disengage with the EU Superstate. His perambulations and evasions and ludicrous "red-lines" fool no-one and all he is doing is to build further momentum in the UK anti-EU camp. My forecast is that the media will report that after "intensive dialogue" and "tough negotiation", Blair will cave in on all the matters of import, he will be thrown a few crumbs by the axis-of-weasel, and the media will present this as a "victory" for common sense. The Euro lotus-eaters dream on even whilst the country trembles.
