Or so we must think when it comes to how the local media (Newletter excepted) has conspicously failed to highlight the latest disasters to befall poor old David Trimble, oor former First Minister!



First, the Edenderry Branch of the UUP in Upper Bann, his constituency heartland, has voted to disband itself. The Edenberry branch of the UUP has always been central in Upper Bann - now it is history. That says it all!



Second, in Lisburn, Joe Lockhart a UUP Councillor and Party loyalist of 33 years standing, leaves the Party to join the DUP.



And all the time, the band played on..
