Those dewy-eyed Irish Americans who are stupid or naive enough to believe that there is some distinction to be made between Irish and Islamic terror, have their sights set on the demise of a new treaty designed to speed up extradition proceedings between Britain and the USA. It has to be stressed, at this juncture, that this same treaty is enabling the US authorities to accelerate the extradition of the odious Abu Hamza.



It never ceases to amaze me that Irish America's willingness to harbour the pioneers of mass terrorism always takes precedence over any measure conceived to reduce or eliminate the possibility of terrorism per se. They have not yet reconciled themselves to that fact that the only difference between Al Queda (which they loathe), and the IRA (which they lionise), is the scale of the atrocities perpetrated.
