LORD TRIMBLE OF VICHY?



Ok - I couldn't resist it. Having been to the fore in labelling the Unionism espoused by UUP leader David Trimble as "Vichy" unionism, I was amused to read in the Irish News in a bitter article by James Kelly that perhaps Trimble may be elevated to the House of Lords. If so, he would need to choose a title - and I can think of none better than Lord Trimble of Vichy.



The rest of Kelly's little rant does not warrant much comment other than noting he appears to have overlooked the fact that there is no devolution here because IRA thugs don't realise that they have to go out of business - permanently.
