A Tangled Web

BORN TO RUN (FOR PRESIDENT KERRY?)



I see that aging rocker Bruce Springsteen, aloing with other notables such as REM, Pearl Jam and John Mellencamp are going on tour in support of John Kerry. Oh dear - rock stars never did have much of a political clue and this is more evidence of the collective stupidity of the breed. Don't they ever grow up?



That said, I do like much of Bruce's music - loved the 9/11 inspired "The Rising." So, in honour of Bruce going over to the dark side, I though a few of his best-known songs needed to have their titles slightly re-written to ensure they are in synch with his support for Botox Kerry. Here's my suggestions - have you any?



1. Born to Run (Away from previous deeply held positions)

2. Scorn for the USA

3. Thinking in the Dark
