It's all about the misappropriation of language. Take this story. Five "Peace protestors" are bound over to keep the peace for a year, following their law-breaking last year when President Bush came to N. Ireland.



Now, leaving my utter contempt for these individuals to one side, who says that they are "Peace Protestors"? They do - and our independent minded media parrots it. But it would just be as balanced to say they are "Appeasement Protestors." After all, their ire is saved for Bush, not Saddam. These bravehearts in the appeasement movement sat on their hands, along with the miserable Green Party, whilst Saddam filled the mass graves with innocent Iraqis. To hear their pious blathering is to hear the sound of hot air escaping from pricked balloons.
