In touchy-feely Britain, we're always finding ways of proving what good little liberals we are. Hence I am not surprised to read that a priest in Birmingham has begun a campaign to change the name of a community centre known as "the Saracen's head" in case it offends Muslims in the area.



Says Canon Rob Morris "It's clearly disrespectful to another religion in the city." The 15th century building was a pub until the 1930's and still displays the old pub sign depicting a saracen warrior. Local Muslims welcome the change... the road to Dhimmitude is not as long as some think.
