ST. GERRY THE PEACE-MAKER.

Producing an onion from his pocket, IRA apologist Gerry Adams sobbed that all the IRA ever really wanted was a better world, more love, nicer shops. With doves cooing in the background, and harps gently pinging, Saint Gerry then broke into his interpretation of "All you need is love" (and 100 tonnes of semtex)

Honestly, anyone taken in by the latest gibberish spewed forth by Adams to the adoring BBC needs therapy. As always, Adams sees the IRA going away in "context". And what, you may ask, is the context he speaks of? Simple - an irreversible thrust towards Irish unity and the implicit destruction of Northern Ireland. Now what sort of Unionist - apart from David Trimble - would buy that guff?

So spare me the usual liberal pieties about how brave Gerry and the boys are. This is recycled IRA propaganda, spun for the benefit of useful fools. Best ignored.
