A Tangled Web

THIS IS HOW YOU DEAL WITH TERRORISTS.



Over at our good friends Slugger O'Toole, I got into a little debate on how one deals with terrorists. My preferred option is to kill them. It's better than waiting for them to kill you and it seems the courageous course of action. I believe that those who set out to take innocent life are best despatched into a fiery eternity by the forces of law and order! This seems to confuse our liberal friends who labour under the following delusions;



1. Dialogue is the only way forward. (Mmmm.....wonder who the 3000 that died on 9/11 should have been "dialoguing" with)



2. The IRA aren't terrorists in the normal sense!!! (Yes they are, and they need to be treated as vermin)



3. It is courting more terror if one stands up to terror. (Correct - but the alternative is surrender! Yoinks.)



It seems to me that after years of a morally bankrupt "peace process" a section of society in Northern Ireland now thinks it odd that terrorists are treated as less than model citizens. The rot in our society is apparent.
