A WOMAN WE SHOULD ALL ADMIRE!
Just in case any female readers should think I am anti-female (males I couldn't give a toss about what they think) can I just say how much I admire Massouda Jalal, a 41-year-old paediatrician who has thrown her hat into the ring to campaign for the Presidency of Afghanistan. She appears to have a clean record and has demonstrated not just courage and valour but also set a brilliant example to other women in the Arab world showing the benefits that flow from democracy. Now here's the thing; this lady in Afghanistan should be getting praise from fellow females, so where is Babs Streisand, Susan Sarandon, Jessica Lange and co. on the subject? Answer: getting their traps shut.
