GREAT SPEECH FROM BUSH..
Well folks, George W. may not be the world's greatest orator, but what a great speech! Rousing, patriotic and a tonic for the troops! What amused me was the fact that the BBC's coverage of the President's speech this morning was immediately countered by giving flip flop man Kerry a chance to reply to all those bad critics who have pointed out the..emm.."radical inconsistencies" in his "Nam campaign. Better still, their balanced coverage on the BUSH speech extended to inviting Kerry's sister, Diane, onto their breakfast programme! Listen, it's ALL OVER for Kerry this year - it's the wicked witch Hillary we have to worry about in 08. In the meantime Four more years? - you bet! Start weeping, liberals.
Plus, did you actually hear Kerry's rebuff of "his patriotism"? As Mark Steyn has written, Kerry is just...strange. Leaving aside the charisma bypass, his principle rebuff of the Swift Boat Vets disturbing allegations concerning his twelve weeks in Viet Nam (and maybe Cambodia, oops), is that they have no right to challenge him. As Steyn puts it - and odd fellow indeed. Poor old Dem's - they have chosen a candidate that THEY think had a strong record of military service and it has all fallen apart for them.
