Our friends over at Slugger O'Toole have flagged up the story that the Scottish Parliament has 14 languages on its web site.



Can I just say what a monumental waste of taxpayers money this is? I mean how many Russian or Catalan speakers are trying to keep up to date with the blatherings in this Scottish hot-air house? There should be but one language used - English! Who pays for this little indulgence - the English taxpayer! If the Scots want to become world leaders in multicultural incoherence that's fine - but I don't see why the good people of England should bankroll them. Don't you agree?
