Well, the talks at Leeds Castle have finished and the outcome is..well, more talks. Soon. Maybe. And another seismic form of words from the IRA. Ugh! I listened to Irish PM Ahern declare in petulant voice that there would be NO change to the essential template of the Belfast Agreement. Sorry Bertie - but you and your ilk need to grow up - Unionism is not on its knees a la Vichy Trimble anymore, instead it has some vigour and some degree of principle. The talks may have ended for a wedding but they also represent a funeral for the corrupt Belfast Agreement. Not a bad result.
