BRING BACK SADDAM.

Being a liberal means never having to say sorry. Being a conservative means always having to say sorry. Or so the BBC's ludicrous coverage of the Iraq Survey Groups' findings would have you believe.

So let me make it clear - Bush and Blair have NOTHING whatsoever to "apologise" for - though the same cannot be said about the UN and the pro-Saddamites in the "anti-war" contingent. Regime change in Iraq was vital, pre-emptive military action long overdue, and forcing the terrorists to come out and play a long way from New York or London was an eminently sensible idea. Those who drone on about WMD demonstrate that they are 9/10 people - stuck in the pre-war era. Here's the deal guys - we no longer sit back and WAIT to be attacked. We pre-empt. Now I know that seems radical, espeically if you are an appeasement-minded Democrat like Kerry whose "big idea" is to hold a conference! Yeah, way to go, Jean Francois, a conference with the Belgiums and French will have Al Qu'ed running for the hills!

Any failings in intelligence with regard to WMD are failings shared by every intelligence service around the world. The French, the Russians, Israel...they all shared the view of the US/UK that Saddam possessed WMD. Perhaps we should ask - where did they go to? Huge amounts remain unaccounted for? Might it be that Syria could help us establish this? The reason that Saddam had to go was because under his diktat Iraq was a sponsor of terrorism, that he had turned his country into a vast torture chamber, and that such a volatile vile regime was a source for future attacks on the West.

The BBC and its ilk should apologise for their traitorous manner in which they undermine the war effort, belittle our soldiers brave efforts, and give encouragement to the terrorists. I'm waiting to hear it.....
