A Double Helping of Cobblers
My, my, is Jude Collins trying to usurp grizzled Brian Feeney for the title of 'Winner of the Most Obnoxious Nationalist Hack' competition? Yesterday, I castigated this idiot for his diatribe on significant changes to the Maiden City's titular prestige; today I continue to fume over his absurd classification of nationalist 'concessions'.
Isn't it strange what passes for major concessions in Collins' sad little world? An IRA 'ceasefire' is one named 'concession'. Wow, my cup runneth over!!!!! IRA terrorists stop killing and bombing innocent bystanders so we'll all have to break open the champagne corks, eh what! And scrapping 'Articles 2 & 3'!! Steady now, I think I'll have to lie down at the sheer magnitude of what was apparently surrendered by insurrectionist Irish nationalism. But, the biggest breathtaker comes in the 'concessions' surrounding terrorist 'decommissioning and disbandment.' Now I'm totally overwhelmed, Jude! Thanking you ever so much, you esteemed bigot, for the smorgasbord of real and imagined goodies: some of which were simply indicative of nationalist Ireland accepting the democratic realities and legalities accepted by the rest of the world in 1921.
Jude tells us all the nationalist community is fed up 'to the back teeth with Unionist politicians who think that stunts and gulders are a substitute for negotiation.' All together now - ooooooh! Jude, the Unionist people are sick, tired and sore of a perpetually whinging Irish minority in their province: a minority which has been pandered to for so long and responds by conferring legitimacy on terrorist murderers. As for me, I'm just sick, tired and sore of having to tolerate the presence of Irish republicans and their 'hangers on' in my country. Looks like we all have our cross to bear.
