FILTY HOSPITALS.
I think this is a curious story. A woman who claims that poor hospital hygiene caused her to contract the superbug MRSA began a landmark legal battle yesterday for £30,000 compensation. Elizabeth Miller has lodged a court summons against Greater Glasgow NHS Board in what is believed to be the first case of its kind in the UK.
Now I have little doubt that the hygiene standards in Glasgow Royal Infirmary leave a lot to be desired, after all, the NHS is one of the UK's biggest killers. On the other hand, I hate the idea of legal vultures feeding off the UK tax-payer through a proliferation of these kind of actions. Best to privatise the NHS and be done with, I say.
