KING CANUTE "QUIETLY CONFIDENT".
This gave me a laugh. Ulster Unionist Sir Reg Empey has been selected to take on the DUP's Peter Robinson at the next Westminster election, it was announced today. The noble Knight believes he can unseat the DUP Deputy Leader. I suspect Sir Reg also believes that the Earth is flat and that it don't rain in Indiana in the summertime. Robinson has a good line when he quips abou the UUP "They are remarkable in building themselves up before an election and the electorate is remarkable in knocking them down afterwards."
