PRAYING FOR SUNDAY LUNCH.
In this age of the politically correct, I was amused to read that hundreds of Anglican churchgoers were asked to pray for the souls of their Sunday roast!!
The special animal welfare service, devised with the RSPCA, included prayers for "animals slaughtered for food" as well as those hunted to death or used in laboratories. Mm...is that the Sunday roast I smell cooking.....?
