Short Shrift

Clare 'Unhinged' Short has been roundly condemned by the people of Birmingham for her ludicrous contention that the Provisional IRA never targeted civilians. As the city recalls the atrocity of the pub bombings almost three decades on, Short has feebly attempt to recant the underlying meaning of her remarks.

Short is no stranger to the apostolic seduction Irish republicanism holds for Left-inclined lunatics. She was, allegedly, a member of the Troops Out Movement in her early years. Furthermore, we must not forget that her roots emanate from the rat holes of South Armagh, a place where Mardi Gras used to be held at the first news of human casualties inflicted by PIRA. Her self-enforced removal from the British Cabinet is something for which we should be eternally grateful. The next logical step would be for the people of Ladywood to remove her from the parliamentary scene altogether.

Ms Short, here are some gentle reminders for you: Bloody Friday, Kingsmill, Tullyvallen, Darkley, Kingsmill, Teebane, Shankill Road, Canary Wharf. Do you think your rodentine capacity for intelligence is capable of grasping the stupidity of your previous remarks?
