THE STRANGE CASE OF ROGER HUTCHINSON.



I note that a former MLA has been granted LEGAL AID after strenuously denying a charge of indecently assaulting a woman council employee. Roger Hutchinson, ex-UKUP, ex-NIUP, ex-DUP and now ex-MLA, was in court yesterday denying the charges. My question is; how can legal aid be granted to someone who up until last November was commanding the exorbitant salary of an MLA?
