THATCHER IN TOP FORM...
I was delighted to read that Lady Thatcher was able to attend the dinner in her honour at The Savoy. I think that Michael Howard got it right when he described her as "the greatest British Prime Minister since Churchill" and he wasn't bad! I was also pleased that the gutless John Major and the treacherous Edward Heath did NOT attend, then again, this was an event for Conservatives.
