Electoral Probabilities



US political scientist, Professor Allan Lichtman has calculated that, on the basis of positive indicators to a set of deterministic criteria, George W Bush will be returned to the White House come November. His prognosis as far as the UK is concerned is also positive for we Conservatives: Michael Howard will (apparently) be the next incumbent in Number 10 Downing Street.



One can only imagine the expressions of disdain upon the faces of every weak-willed, cowardly liberal across the globe should the Americans see sense and return 'Dubya' to Pennsylvania Avenue. Of greater concern to such types here in Britain would be the precipitous decline of, arguably, the most morally devoid and unprincipled government in modern times. We can only pray that Lichtman's accuracy is as sound as his academic credentials.
