ISLAMOPHOBIC UK?





The persistent and untackled Islamophobia in the UK could lead to 'time-bombs' of backlash and bitterness, according to a major report. So says the findings of a national commission into Islam in Britain. The report is the latest publication from the Commission on British Muslims and Islamophobia, a think tank first set up by anti-racism organization the Runnymede Trust.



This sort of tripe needs dealt with and Melanie Phillips deals with the topic admirably here. I would just take one quote from her commentary to make my own point;



"This is victim culture gone mad with a (literal) vengeance. For this whole ludicrous list of grievances can be accounted for by either the measures taken by the west in defence of itself (and of dissident Muslims) against Islamist fascism, or by poverty and disadvantage which is as much due to the requirements or constraints of Muslim culture as anything done by the host community."



She is quite right and the crawling sycophancy of the left towards this Islamic victim culture is sickening.
