AND THEY SAY SATIRE IS DEAD?
Let me be clear, I like a good joke as the next man. (Mr. Brown at No 23) However, I found this allegedly satirical spoof by Irish News house-trained "unionist" Newton Emerson just plain unfunny.
Newton's bile for Dr. Paisley and the success of the DUP is apparent. How he must miss the days of UUP ascendency, and him such a liberal. Tell you what Newt - maybe the next time one of your elderly relatives goes into hospital, drop me a line and we'll see what amusing HEADLINES (formerly hesdlinies) we can come up with.
