POPPY DAY VICTIMS "FORGOTTEN"

Those brave men from the IRA plumbed new depths EVEN for them in 1987 when they planted a bomb at the cenotaph in Enniskillen, killing 11 innocents and injuring 63. All these years later guess what? No one has been convicted of this horrrendous crime. Not only that, but the daughter of one of the 11 people murdered by the IRA in the 1987 Poppy Day bomb in Enniskillen has said the victims and police investigation have been forgotten. It is shocking, but nonetheless predictable, that at a time when our gutless Government spends millions of poinds keeping terrorists and their frontmen happy, the VICTIMS of terrorism are treated with contempt and ignored

Aileen Quinton lost her mother on that fateful Sunday morning back in 1987. Her mum's crime was to be at the war memorial in Enniskilleen paying tribute to those who made the supreme sacrifice in the World Wars defending our liberties. That's how brave the IRA are.

Under the terms of the "Good Friday Agreement", if the IRA thugs responsible for this act of barbarism owned up, they would be sentenced to a few weeks in prison. Nice, isn't it. Ms Quinton loses her mother, the IRA lose a few weeks liberty, and the country loses all sense of morality.
