The Bush-haters regularly demonstrate they profound ignorance of economics by whining how Bush's tax cuts rewarded the rich - the Halliburton set as it were. Here's a great response by Stephen Moore over at NRO. It is obvious that "the rich" now pay more, 80% of Americans pay less than 18% of total income taxes, and Kerry-Edwards have no understanding of the US tax situation. How lied? Kerry did - when he claims last years budget was tilted at the rich.
