I laughed at this well-placed bit of Government propaganda disguised as a news story in the Financial Times. So, the IRA are to be asked to consider disarming and disbanding. How very interesting. The thing is - weren't they supposed to do that all tose years ago following the "historic" Good Friday Agreement? Are we to believe that they didn't? And did they still get seven years worth of appeasement? Mmm, seems to me that we are being fed the same sterile tripe by Government in advance of September's all party talks. No sane Unionist should believe ONE word of this.
