Michael Howard has come forward with what sounds like sensible policies on policing. I was delighted to hear him say that the Conservative Party would NOT implement the utterly stupid "Macpherson" recommendations to issue receipts to those stopped and searched! I see that those very nice Liberal-Dem's once again exude their poison by saying "Michael Howard's Alf Garnett approach to criminal justice policy is more hot air than heavyweight thinking. The Lib-Dem's are the personification of hot-air and represent a real menace with their chameleon approach to policy depending on where they are standing for election.
