THE KERRY FILES..
I enjoyed this take on Flip-flop Kerry from "The Rostra"
"The following very moving quote from Paul Galanti, P.O.W. in Vietnam from 1966-1973, as featured in the new Swift Boat Veterans for Truth ad, sums up perfectly why we cannot put our trust in the Democratic nominee for President, especially in times so critical as these in which we now live:
”He gave the enemy for free what I and many of my comrades in the North Vietnam prison camps took torture to avoid saying…it demoralized us. ... He dishonored the men he served with…he sold them out.”Kerry did not respect his country or its cause then, nor did he respect the soldiers with whom he served. He is a sophist, a man without principals who only respects those men and ideas that are useful to him in his rise to power. He cares not for honor, or for virtue – if he did he would have refrained from ridiculing and denouncing our troops upon his return from Vietnam, if only out of concern for their morale and their safety. No, Kerry is only concerned with appearances and private gain. He is a modern day Alcibiades who would turn against Athens as soon as its laws cease to suit him. Such a man ought never be allowed to lead a nation. If he does rise to our most prominent political position, it will be simultaneously cause and symptom of much tragedy in America."
Which is why he must not win.
