SUCCESS IN NAJAF BUT WHY ISN'T IT BEING REPORTED?



I was very pleased to read that brave US troops have managed to kill over 300 terrorists in the Jihadist hide out of Najaf. Details here. But I have a question. Why does the media portray this outstanding military success in the gloomy tones of the quagmire rhetoric? Here we see how the US is helping the Iraqi police force weed out Al-Sadr's goonsquad, and all the UK media can do is whine about how bad the "uprising is." Utterly pathetic. Readers may recall that I have advocated that the US/New Iraqi police beseige Al-Sadr terrorist gangs, kill them all, and send a key message to the Jihadi - "We are the strong horse." It's what they understand and it's what all liberals studiously run away from. You don't "dialogue" with Al-Sadr - you remorselessly move against him until he is in prison or paradise.
