I wonder did anyone see the BBC 2 programme on the life of Peter Cook a few evenings ago called "At a slight angle to the universe"?



Peter is one of my comedy heroes, and his death in1995 at the age of only 59 was a massive loss. There has been no one quite like him - and I just loved his rather eccentric take on life. Sadly, Peter drank himself into an early grave - and so there is a terrible sense of having never quite achieved his full potential about his life.
