MEMORIAL TO HAROLD GRACEY...



There was a service to pay tribute for the life of Harold Gracey at Drumcree Parish Church yesterday. Everyone has their own memories of those who pass on, and I have mine of Harold. I can remember sitting with him and his Portadown mates, in a caravan at Drumcree way back in 1995. I'm sure they found me a political curiousity back even then! It was obvious that he was being thrown into very deep political waters but he knew right from wrong, even if he did not know how wrong Wright was. Anyway, I liked him - was sad at the news of his death back in March - and hope that the family circle took great comfort from the service. Rest in peace Harold - you were a good man.
