I always enjoy reading Suzanne Breen - perhaps the best writer on local political affairs. Of course she is a raging leftist, and she and I have differed profoundly on almost all the main international issues, but she has wit and good manners.



Here is an excellent profiling interview with DUP Deputy Leader Peter Robinson - the next putative First Minister of the Stormont Assembly (should it ever get up and going). I rate Peter Robinson as a thinker and as a political pragmatist - but he's a cold fish rather like the 1000 Koi carp he keeps in his pond! With all politicians, you have to watch the vanity quotient - and when Peter talks of wearing his Versace jeans......well...
