SO WHAT DOES THE "F" STAND FOR?
You have to admit - John Kerry is the most hilarious Democrat candidate one could hope for. OK, I had secretly wanted Howard Dean to get the nomination as he would have possibly turned into the Incredible Hulk by now, such was his towering cartoon rage! But stung by the massive lead in the poll opened up by George W. (11 points!) following the GOP conference in NYC, poor old Kerry has had to endure the humiliation of a wired-up Bill Clinton telling him how to go about winning a campaign. Like him or loath him (guess where I stand?) Bubba Bill at least knew how to go about winning Presidential campaigns. But poor Kerry, Mr. Cambodia 1969, hasn't a clue.
Hence his lastest declaration that "It all comes down to one letter - W. George W Bush. And the W stand for wrong. The W stands for wrong choices, wrong judgement, wrong priorities, wrong direction for our country. It's the wrong war in the wrong place at the wrong time."
Now, where do you even start with that kind of nonsense? How about asking the Viet Nam veteran when would the RIGHT time have been to prosecute war against an Iraqi dictator who had run rings around Kerry's beloved UN for 11 years? Maube wait another 11? And how many innocent Iraqis would Kerry have deemed it was RIGHT to sacrifice before action could be taken?
The Bush camp fires back, "After voting for the war, but against funding it, after saying he would have voted for the war even knowing everything we know today, my opponent woke up this morning with new campaign advisers and yet another new position. Suddenly he's against it again. No matter how many times Senator Kerry changes his mind, it was right for America and it's right for America now that Saddam Hussein is no longer in power."
On reflection, I think we should reflect upon what the "F" in John F. Kerry stands for. I have a pretty good idea.
