Lord Kilclooney (or John Taylor to his friends..) has been quick off the mark in recent days with this letter, which he winged in to the local newspapers. Basically, it's his "you can't blame the Ulster Unionist Party" apology for the demise of the Full Time police reserve.



Dear John is outraged but, as he so CAREFULLY explains, it's the Chief Constable's call, not that of the Policing Board. So blame Orde but don't blame gutless Unionists who sit on this Policing Board monstrosity, bank the fat salaries, and participate in the demise of law and order whilst wringing their sweaty little hands. Pathehtic. DUP and UUP - ugh!
