Looks like we're going to get a new version of the Band Aid song, "Do They Know It's Christmas?" first released in 1984. Coldplay, Travis, The Darkness and Keane have backed the project, Midge Ure said on his website on Thursday.



Well, I enjoyed the original version, (a product of it's time, I feel) hated the 1989 re-make (even though Kylie was on it) and await to hear what the new version will sound like. However the real reason that this release will be very good news is that it SHOULD keep Ronan Keating & Yusuf Islam's "Father and Son" from hitting the top slot!
