NELSON AND THE AVENGERS.
I read that Nelson Mandela was a great fan of the "New Avengers" - if Joanna Lumley is to be believed. It appears that the South African saint (and terrorist) like nothing better than watching the character Lumley played - Purdey - escaping from evil by the skin of her jump-suit. Mind you, if I thought that I had to go home to Winne Mandela, who is to say what bizarre tricks that might also play on my mind?
