So Tony "trust me" Blair has made a speech which signals that he would use a third term in power to radically alter the welfare state and further reform the public services. "Bold" reforms were needed to create an "opportunity society" where working-class people could share middle-class aspirations, he said in a key speech.



Let's cut through all this vacuous carefully crafted nonsense and get to the heart of what he is really saying. Re-elect him and we will get a third term of further relentless social(ist) engineering and deconstruction of that which makes Britain great. Blair wants to control our lives by inserting Government into every facet of it. He is Nanny State manifest. In this regard, he is a real and present menace. Unless Howard and the Conservatives can turn things around - I fear Blair will get his way and further destroy this United Kingdom.
