ULSTER UNIONIST CHARM OFFENSIVE TO DUBLIN.

I see that the Ulster Unionist dynamic duo of Michael McGimpsey and Sir Reg Empey are off to Dublin today to engage with Dermot Ahern on how to restore devolution. Perhaps the intrepid pair would be better placed staying at home and trying to think of ways to restore their decrepid party? It seems to me that Ulster Unionist fortunes are on the wane, that the next General Election will further evidence this, and that the DUP may soon become the ONLY Unionist Party - of any meaning.

Shouldn't the UUP be focusing on how it could present an attractive and viable alternative to the DUP - or has it accepted it's fate is reduced to managing it's own political extinction?
