Useful Fools Part II: Paul Bigley

However disgusted I was (and remain) about the brutal slaughter of Ken Bigley, I couldn't help feeling a mixture of anger and contempt at what I see as the cynical manipulation of public sentiment by one of his siblings. Auntie Beeb reports Paul Bigley as being in full support of the motley collection of kooky whackos who will, later today, be parading through the streets of our capital city with the tiresome and erroneous message that Western machinations in general, and American imperialism in particular are responsible for the upsurge of terrorism in Iraq.

It appears personal grief has somehow affected Bigley's ability to think rationally. First of all, George W Bush and Tony Blair share a common desire to bring scum like Al Zarqarwi - the man who murdered Ken Bigley - to justice; yet they are the 'culprits with blood on their hands'. Surreal or what!!!! Secondly, the marchers are part of the same fraternity who believe those lovely, cuddly Jihadists would have embraced the West with Islamic comity if only 'Dubya' hadn't made it to the White House. Thirdly, this march is being attended by members of Sinn Fein - the most experienced terrorists operating in Europe at this time. I hardly think those individuals who march in tandem with mongrels like Adams and McDonald can criticise the alleged 'terrorist' acts of others.

Paul Bigley is a shameful opportunist: nothing more, nothing less. The memory of his brother could be better served by his calling for the lynching of Al Zarqarwi and chums, instead of acting like a crass, pacifistic Lefty incapable of seeing the wood for the trees.
