BBC NORMAL SERVICE HAS BEEN RESUMED...

The past week has been hell for the BBC. First they had to ensure the outbreak of public warmth for Ronald Reagan. Then they had to ensure the Tories mopping up at the local Elections. Then, heaven forbid, that party of cranks and madmen, the UKIP, suddenly becomes the third largest European party on its manifesto to pull OUT of the rotten EU. God that must have hurt the luvvies.

I am therefore relieved to see that normal service has been resumed this morning;

1. More deaths in Iraq, more successful acts of murdering Americans.

2. The British Army forced to court-martial those amongst its ranks who "tortured" poor innocent Iraqis.

3. Gordon Brown is now the longest serving Chancellor - wouldn't he make a great PM?

4. Bush's foreign policy has been dismissed as dangerous and damaging to the US's "reputation" (where, in downtown Jihadistan?) by a gang of UNophiles.

Great to see the BBC back on form.
