Sympathy for the Forgotten
I am frequently told by bloggers on A Tangled Web that I write in a very angry fashion where Northern Ireland issues are concerned. I recently responded to Emily, stating there was much which had occurred over the last decade to feel angry about. Reading articles such as the sad story of Pearl Graham makes me want to positively spit venom. Seeing the worst forms of terrorist homicidal humanity indulged and feted by governments whilst their victims and their victims' loved-ones are cast aside on the scrapheap of collective amnesia triggers a feeling of incalculable bitterness. Adams, McGuinness, Doherty, and their equally loathsome counterparts in loyalist militias may be commended in this life, but they will surely pay for their wicked deeds in the next.
