THE BUSH BOUNCE...



I feel their pain. The BBC, that is, at having to announce the awful truly shocking news this morning - that the latest poll in the States show George W. with an 11% lead over Kerry. Oh no - this can't be! True to form, a chastened BBC went on to admonish us that polls aren't really that reliable (funny thing is when Kerry was ahead they forgot that condition) and that there was a lot of time between now and the election. (again, true but wishful thinking here, methinks)



The reality is that Bush had a great conference week and now that Americans have been able to observe what Kerry stands for (nuance) and been able to compare that with what Bush stands for (strong defence from the Jihadi and freeing the people from Government) they know who they're going to support. Game over Kerry men.....now, anyone for Hilary in 08?
